Jesus is Made Unto Us Wisdom, Righteousness, Sanctification and Redemption.
Jehoram was King, but Subject to Error.
Jehoram rose to power after Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah died. Jehoshaphat's son, Jehoram reigned as king for eight years. Jehoram was 32 when he became king. Jehoram did not follow the ways of God. The first thing he did when he became king was kill his brothers and various princes of Israel. See II Chronicles 21:4.
Jehoram made high places of idol worship and caused the people of Judah to sin. See II Chronicles 22:11.
What's the moral of this story?
As Believers, we are vessels of righteousness. The Lord wants His love to flow through us. Be a channel for good not evil because the Lord is watching us and also because it's just right to do what is right. We've all been given the power of influence. We can encourage people to make good choices and influence others to do wrong. Look for ways to bless those who have been sent into your life. I Corinthians 13:1 - 11; Galatians 5:22 - 25.
Always remember Jesus loves you.
