There’s a set time and a due season for all things under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1). And there’s a time for the promised blessings God has spoken over your life to manifest. The set time and due season I'm referring to pertains to the waiting time between a blessing God has promised or spoken over your life through a fellow Believer or perhaps even a stranger.
Blessings are Always Happening.
If the Lord wasn’t gracious and merciful constantly, everything would crumble. If God only helped us when we were good, we'd all be trouble! Fortunately He rains on the just and the unjust and pours out blessings upon all. See Matthew 5:45.
1] God’s grace and mercy gives us time to seek forgiveness or be cleansed from a sin or something that could weaken us spiritually or prevent us from entering our promised land.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9 KJV
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies. Psalm 103:4 KJV
2] For those specific “prophetic words” to come to pass, there is first trust and belief that God will bring you through. Then there’s testing, perseverance, pressing through, obedience, and waiting on God for more direction, more strength, and more anointing.
Joseph Waited on God.
Sometimes God will allow us to go through tests and challenges while we're waiting on the promise to manifest. God is not trying to put a stumbling block in our ways. Many times, He's showing us that although we're going through a test, He's with us. And it's an open Book test. This means we can refer to the Bible as a source of strength and comfort during difficult times.
Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him. Psalm 105.19
What Happens While We Wait?
a, There’s Growth, maturity, and revelation in the waiting.
b. You find out who’s who in the waiting. You can see those who God uses to help you and also see those who the enemy uses to hinder you from doing God’s will.
c. Lessons to rely and lean back on as you trust God in the waiting.
d. You learn how to be still and quiet in the waiting.
Remember, all God's promises in Him are yes and Amen to the glory of God. II Cor. 1:20.
Blessings,
Tanda
