How Do You Know He Hears You?
Most of this Blog is taken from my book, “How to Pray.” I hope these words encourage you to trust and believe the Lord is on your side and cares very much for you.
Each and every prayer is heard by God. Even before you realized who He was, He already loved you. Your time is valued and heard by God. He is dying to hear you speak. He values you over anything else.
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7, 8 NKJV
Pray and Wait.
Have faith that God listens and responds to your prayers every time. God cherishes you. He wants to support you because you are the apple of His eye. The love of our heavenly Father is the greatest and most powerful love there is. You are his most prized and precious offspring. You belong to God's family.
Sometimes faith shows up right away, and other times it takes time. The Bible states that we walk by faith and not by sight because of this. Not that the Bible says we live by faith. Because it takes time to wait and listen for His voice, it says that we walk by faith. We'll have to go because of a few things. These unique circumstances can call for more time spent in prayer or time spent before God.
“But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children.” Psalm 103:17 NKJV
Trust God.
In the spirit realm, it’s done the minute you ask. But that might not happen all the time. Be willing to wait and trust God. His desire is to perfect you and cause you to succeed.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.”Jeremiah 29:11-12 KJV
