Encouragement for the New Year.
The Lord loves you and wants you blessed. I want to use this space to encourage you to set a goal to grow in your knowledge of the Lord, His Word or what He expects from you. By seeking His face, you'll be amazed at how He longs to lavish His goodness upon you. The Bible says in Ephesians 1:3…
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 KJV
Cooperate with the Lord.
The important thing to remember is that all of our blessings come from the Lord (See James 1:17). Blessings originate in the spirit realm and come to us using the avenue in which the Lord chooses. So we need to spend time in prayer and the Word to find out what His will is and then cooperate with Him. As Christian Believers, we are part of the Kingdom of Light which means we now depend upon the Lord as our source. Jesus supplies all of our needs.
Suggested Actions to See Many Good Days in 2024.
Here is a short list of active steps you can take to keep you close to the Lord and walk in His blessings.
- Put the Lord first and include Him in your day and in your concerns and projects. Matthew 6:33, Proverbs 16:3
- Get in the Word day and night. See Psalm 1:2
- Delight in the Lord’s holy presence, His peace and His commandments through prayer and Bible study. See Psalm 37:4
- Be kind to others. Ephesians 4:32
- Remember to be grateful. Deuteronomy 8:10, I Thessalonians 5:16 to 18
