Witnessing to Those Who Don’t Know Christ.

Introduction.

For many Christians, sharing the Gospel of Jesus can be scary. Whether it’s one on one or you’re speaking in front of several people, I’ve got some good news – Jesus will help you! So, fear not. Here’s some notes below that will assist you in sharing the Word with unbelievers.

Also, the paragraphs below are taken from Chapter 1 in my book, “Walking Out Salvation’s Plan.” It’s like a Discipleship Training class in a book.

1.    We Should Witness to Others. Sharing the Gospel of Jesus is part of the Salvation walk. One of our roles as ambassadors for the Kingdom is to make efforts to reconcile people back to God. We love Jesus and we’re grateful for His sacrifice at Calvary’s cross. We can never fully repay Him. Jesus was totally innocent, yet He gave His life for us. Telling others about the love of Jesus Christ is done, not out of compulsion, but because we love Him. His mission to us is the Great Commission. See Matthew 28:18-20.

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.” II Corinthians 5:18

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them… Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19a-20

2.    You Must Be Born Again.

I remember meeting a person many years ago who said he was Christian. I asked him, “When did you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?” He said he was always saved – that he was saved at birth. I told him the Bible says, “You must be born again” (John 3:3-5). Romans 10:9-10 says, Believe with your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus rose from the dead, and you’ll be saved. He insisted that he had always been saved. I was kind and respectful, but I later prayed that he would come to the revelation of needing to be saved, repent, and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:7 KJV

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 14:6 NKJV

There are several names for Christians, too numerous to list here, many of which are not in the Bible. The list below is not an all-inclusive list of Christian names, nevertheless, these are some of the names ascribed to us.

3.    All Things Are New.

When II Corinthians 5:17 says, “behold, all things are become new,” it means you have a new life in Christ Jesus. When you receive Jesus as Savior, your hair will look the same, your face may glow with the light of God, but your body is basically the same. In other words, you still have 10 toes and 10 fingers, but you have a brand new identity in Christ. You are no longer part of the world of darkness. You are in the world, but not of it. You are now part of the family of God. You are a child of the King.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” II Corinthians 5:17

“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:7

Summary

As you grow in the Word and the anointing, you will, in time, grow in wisdom, understanding, and revelation of the spirit realm and the will of God. If you stick with it, you will keep growing bigger and bigger in both natural and spiritual matters. And as you grow, you will be able to connect the dots concerning your divine destiny, winning souls, and assisting others in growing in God.

Blessings,

Prayer to Receive Jesus as Your Personal Savior.

Dear Lord,

I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead. I believe the blood of Jesus was shed for my sins, my healing, my salvation, and my deliverance. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. I want Jesus to come into my heart. Save my soul. Write my name in the Lamb’s book of life. Give me the wisdom, strength, and power of the Holy Ghost to serve You for the balance of my days. I praise You for this new life with Jesus Christ.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 3:16, Romans 10:9-11, Revelation 21:27
