Introduction.
A Closer walk with Thee my Lord. I think that’s what most of Christ’s followers truly want; to draw near to God and live daily in His presence.
As we approach Thanksgiving, I figured it would be an ideal time to share a prayer of Worship and Praise. I wrote and prayed these words of Worship to our God sometime between 2016 to 2017. You can include it in your Devotional time. This prayer is an excerpt from my book, How to Pray, A guide to one of the most powerful forces in the universe. It comes from Chapter 2, pages 24 and 25. A Prayer of Worship and Praise.
Heavenly Father,
You are the One I love, exalt and worship. You’re the One I want to serve all my days. You’re the One I want to please and make smile. Thank You for loving and caring for me in such a beautiful way. Thank You for being my God and my friend. You are the true God and you are my true friend.
I love the way You talk with me. I love the way your Spirit hovers over me. I’m thankful for your provisions in all areas of my life. And I’m grateful for You keeping me from day to day. God, I just love everything about You. Because You always forgive me when I fall short, I choose as an act of my own will to forgive every person who has trespassed against me.
I know that everything You touch grows. My prayer is that You keep your hand upon my life. Help me to maintain a spirit of worship throughout the day. I ask that you give me revelation as I study your Word. Give me wisdom as I share your Word. I want to deposit your truth into every person you have designated to read and hear the Word through me.
Thank You in advance for your help and placing me in the center of your perfect will. We honor You for hearing and answering this prayer of Worship and Praise in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Healing Through Worship and Praise.
Have you ever noticed how free you feel when you’re grateful. I want to take this time to admonish you to make a list of the things for which you’re thankful, daily. It can be 2 to 3 things or 5 to 10 things. There’s a song titled “Count Your Many Blessings,” and it says name them one by one; count your many blessings, see what the Lord has done. As you begin to recollect the enormous amount of blessings God has bestowed upon you, you’ll feel lighter, joyful, and free because there is healing in your praise and worship to God.
Summary.
Include Worship and Praise in your daily walk with Christ. God inhabits the praises of His people. See Psalm 22:3. Remember, in His presence is the fullness of joy. See Psalm 16:11. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. See 2 Corinthians 3:17.
