Some days are filled with sunshine, while other days are rainy. God never promised that all our days would be pie and ice cream. There will be days when we face challenges. But God has already given us many ways to handle difficulties and one of those ways is “praise.” In other words, stick close to the Lord, pray for His direction, and praise Him for the victory before it manifests in this physical realm. Faith is manifested when we praise God amid adversity. Get a Scripture that deals with your situation. Confess the Word in the form of praise daily. Your consistency with those Scriptures will grow your spirit man with courage, wisdom, and strength.
Trials come in the form of temptations, illness, the death of a loved one, financial trouble, and many other kinds of tests. If any opposing force comes after you and you respond with the Word and a Praise to God, please know, that you just did a counterattack.
How Praise Affects the Battle.
There could be hundreds of ways praise helps to bring you through, but here are four:
- Brings the presence of God into your situation. Psalm 22:3, Psalm 96:7 to 13
- Causes deliverance. Paul and Silas’ praise unhinged the prison bars. Psalm 27, Acts 16:25 to 34
- Invokes the angels when you speak the Word. Psalm 103:20, Psalm 50:23, Psalm 91:1, 2 and 11, 12
- Manifests peace when you speak your requests to the Lord with Thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6, 7, Colossians 3:15
Keep Your Eyes on Jesus.
Remember that praise is the language used throughout heaven. Our focus is not or should not be so much on what the opposition is doing. Too much concentration on the challenge is not the answer. Preoccupation with the wrong things can cause a diversion from your God-given assignment and your goals. Our focus is Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus is on the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. See Romans 8:34, Hebrews 10:12, 13. He is so worthy of our praise at all times.
