A children’s book created for craniosynostosis families — helping little ones, siblings and parents feel less alone through diagnosis, surgery and recovery.
Teddy the Brave was written after our son Teddy was diagnosed with sagittal craniosynostosis and had surgery at 3 months old.
When we were going through diagnosis, surgery and helmet therapy, I wanted something gentle that could help explain the journey to children and make families feel less alone.
This book was created with love for craniosynostosis families — whether you are newly diagnosed, preparing for surgery, supporting a sibling, or looking for a comforting resource to help explain what is happening.
Thank you for making our experience a little less daunting and for being such a great support throughout our journey.
Teddy the Brave has become so much more than a book. The encouragement, support and kidness offered to families has ment so much during difficult times. Thank you for helping us feel less alone
“Thank you for creating something so needed for cranio families.”
