***Very First Blog***

Hey Guys...

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my first EVER blog on my BRAND NEW website!!!

I'm Latosha, the proud owner and operator of Tee-Tah Productions, a media based business. I'm a digital video editor. I'm a married mother of three, currently residing in Texas. I was born and raised in Louisiana. I love food, and food loves me back, but we both hate weight gain. Lol!!! Yes, I'm currently snacking as I'm typing this up. Lol!!!

Well, that's quite enough. I was going to tell you all more about me, like my favorite color, and likes/dislikes, but, ehh, I figured we'd just get into what I want this blog to be about.

Since this is the first of many blogs, I rather discuss what my role is at Tee-Tah Productions and the purpose of this website.

I'm a videographer. That means I film and edit content. I film social media content, commercials, lives events, weddings and more. Since the pandemic, formally known as Covid-19 altered our lives, I decided to focus more on editing. I had to cancel a couple weddings that was booked and reschedule other events. I sat at home from March to May not filming ANYTHING.

One day, I had a client reach out to me about an idea that had been swimming in his head like Michael Phelps. Lol! This particular client was several states over, so if we did any collaborating, it'd be online or virtual. I told him that I could solely edit for him since there's no way I could film long distance. I also did this for a couple more clients. This was ALL I could do since there was a shutdown or extreme measures of social distance. Also during covid, I was expecting my 3rd child. Talk about going through a lot. Even if i wanted to get out and film, my physical capacity was becoming limited. So all I had was editing.

Ohhh, but it didn't end there. Hurricane Laura tore through Lake Charles, LA like The Hulk ripping through his clothes. And of course, as luck would have it, yet ANOTHER storm, Hurricane Delta came through to pickup any crumbs that Laura may have left on her plate. So now, no filming and no editing. We had to evacuate a couple times and editing was absolutely the last thing on my mind. But eventually, things started to resemble some sort of normalcy. Since I'd gone through changes and setbacks throughout 2020, I decided to edit exclusively, henceforth becoming known as a Digital Video Editor.

In and around that same time, I started my online courses where I teach others such as yourself how to film and edit. I launched my primary website, www.teetahproductions.com and NOW I have developed a program for media mentorship!

If you need advice about a project, want to brainstorm, or need ongoing coaching, consider Tee-Tah Productions' Media Mentorship program.
