I can't believe I've been gone almost three weeks. I dedicated myself to this blog, and then life happened. But I learned something recently that put it all in perspective: when a good thing is trying to happen, there's always something bad trying to stop it. I already knew that. Common sense. But hearing it said out loud, plain like that — it hits different when you're living it.
So here's where I've been.
I've been deep in the work of rebranding myself, and I've been using AI to do it. If you don't know my story, the short version is this: I was a stay-at-home mom until recently. Last year, all my kids finally left the house and went out on their own — which is a blessing — and it hit me with empty nester syndrome all at once.
I started with ChatGPT, like most people do. Just talking. Brainstorming. My interest in AI grew from there. And then I started noticing something that I couldn't ignore: not a lot of people who look like me, or who are at my financial level, are really using AI. Most don't even know where to start. I decided that as long as I keep learning, I can keep teaching. This whole thing has been less than a year. I'm working out the kinks. I'm figuring it out as I go.
Some days it feels defeating. Some days it's too much. But it always feels worth it — because every time I'm about to quit, something pulls me back.
My aunt called the other day. She said, "You taught me a lot about AI. I'm going to keep learning because I want to post on TikTok." My nephews told me, "We see you and your videos." And just like that — I've got my reason. I keep going for them.
I just wanted to check in and let you know I'm still here. Still dedicated. I'm going to keep posting as consistently as I can, so just bear with me while I figure this out. In the meantime, keep using AI. Even if all you're doing is playing around in ChatGPT or generating images that make you smile — keep going. Don't stop. And if you ever need help, I'm always here.
