Hi! I'm Theresa
I’m a balloon stylist, creative brain, and chronic oversharer—usually all at once. I have two kids (ages 5 and 8), and like so many others in this industry, I fell in love with balloon design while decorating for their birthdays. I’ve been hooked ever since.
These days, I design and build balloon installs for celebrations and events, but I’m also the kind of person who can’t help but share what I’ve learned. Whether it’s pricing with confidence or creating a standout design, once I’ve figured something out, I want to make the road smoother for the next person.
My background as a nurse practitioner has taught me how to listen deeply, problem-solve under pressure, and support people through uncertainty. Funny enough, those skills translate beautifully into running a creative business too.
I love my work as an NP but there is something about this industry that sets my soul on fire. I've never thought of myself as artsy or creative, but it turns out that I just needed someone to put a few balloons in my hands. Now? I eat, sleep, and breathe this stuff (well, not literally—you won’t catch me inflating anything by mouth if I can help it).
Like many artists, I learned the hard way how to price my work. I spent too long undercharging, second-guessing myself, and feeling like everything had to be perfect before I could charge what I was worth (I’m an Enneagram 1, if that tells you anything. IYKYK). Eventually I figured out how to do this well, even when you're still learning (aren't we all?), and now I help other artists fast forward through the messy middle and get to the good part- where we get to do something we're passionate about with clarity, confidence, and joy.
If you’re looking for honest feedback (I genuinely don’t know any other way), practical strategies, and someone who really gets it, I’d love to be in your corner.
