For a long time, income was synonymous with employment. One role. One stream. One definition of stability.
That mindset no longer works.
In 2026, I’m rethinking income as a system, not a source. A system that includes earned income, investments, retirement planning, and assets that grow over time. This shift has changed how I approach money decisions — from how I save, to how I invest, to how I plan for the future.
Rethinking income also means understanding that wealth creation doesn’t require perfection — it requires participation. Contributing consistently to retirement accounts, learning more about real estate, and building better money habits are all part of the process.
Most importantly, I’m reframing income as something I actively build, not something I passively receive. That mindset alone changes how intentional every financial decision becomes.
