My Story

If I’m being honest, She Rises Co. didn’t start as a business idea. It started with me just trying to survive my days and find peace in my home. It was very chaotic and I was stressed almost every day, about to blow my top. The kids were wild, my marriage was falling apart partly because of our stress levels, I didn't start my days by myself, I was just going through the motions of the day and going "wherever the wind took me". I was crying twice a week because I felt like I had no control over much. I felt like I wasn't getting much done, yet trying to be productive. I was impatient, annoyed, reactive and unordered. I literally remember saying to my husband, "this cannot be life". It didnt make sense and something had to change.

I wanted a home that felt calm, steady and peaceful and I was trying to figure out why things were not working as I wanted them to. For a long time, I felt like I was constantly behind. One day, I was on the phone with my mother venting to her and she said, "you need to create a routine for you and your family". And so I tried all the routines, systems, and productivity tips that promised to make life easier, and instead, they just made me feel more overwhelmed and like I was failing somehow.

My mother was absolutely correct, but something was still missing: I needed to include God into my every day activities. My parents always taught me that, but I just failed at doing so.

Deep down, I knew I didn’t want hustle. I wanted alignment. I wanted structure that felt gentle and realistic. And most of all, I wanted God to be part of my everyday life at home, not just on Sundays or only when I need him, but in the routines, the planning, the mess, my family, and in everything I do.

As I started giving my days and mornings to God, He started telling me to slow down and rest. I started praying through my days and reading the Bible more. God showed me how to build simple rhythms that worked for my season instead of forcing myself into someone else’s. I stopped aiming for perfection (because I grew up being a perfectionist all the time) and focused on faithfulness. Just showing up, stewarding my home well, and giving myself grace.

What I discovered was that structure doesn’t have to be stressful. Planning doesn’t have to feel heavy. In fact, it makes things a lot more lighter. And caring for your home can actually bring peace when it’s done with intention and wisdom.

I created these tools because I needed them for myself. Other planners and templates were not working well for me. So I figured if I needed them, others can benefit from them too. And my hope is that they support you the same way in helping you feel less scattered, more grounded, and confident in the way you’re managing your home and your time.

This is how She Rises Co. was born.
