My favourite time of day is just as the sun drops onto the horizon, still light, but softer than the afternoon. We have a fox problem here so I sit with the sheep or walk the hedge-line while I wait for the chickens to settle in their houses.
It's a gentle time, (unless I spot the fox and chase it off!), the birds' goodnight songs are lovely and the herons fly over on their way to roost. Anyway, I thought I'd post a bit about my fox-watch sessions from time to time and share some photos from the hedge and fields.
