'Dark Secrets' of the Mountains

...... sometime in our life, we have to do things differently - out of the common thinking to arrive at a different set of outcome.

For that, we certainly need to retrain our mind to see and think differently; but before that, the emotions and the psychological of things must be put under control; not to overwhelm the heart & bravery within.

.....there is therefore the need to be calm; for example, take darkness: it has all of the inherent fears - but once you understand that most of the inherent fears are made up in the mind, then you'll understand why then some people love hiking the mountains calmly at night, in the dark - as compared to many of us, commonly hiking in the day - two set of opposing practices and mindsets in display.

The point is, when we understand that darkness is but another set of circumstances (to leverage upon) - then what fears it may strike in others, is but only an ideal situation to seize for another.

Darkness then become something we could have tolerance of and be calm about.

Usually, darkness has the same effect as that of the unknown, the uncertainty too.

So to getting used in handling them, sort of training ourselves to be at ease or calm with such darkness, uncertainty or the unknown in life - then we certainly have to do things differently - we then have to try hiking those mountains at night as those hikers do, for example.

Perhaps, that could offer us some insight and learning then - a familiar terrain could then become a new attempt that offers new set of self-understanding, learning and awareness at the end of it all."
