Before you dive into my books, I would like to introduce myself—not as an expert who has everything figured out, but as a real person who’s still learning, still growing, and still practicing what I’m about to share with you.
I’m a teacher, an interpreter, and an entrepreneur. Which basically means I’ve spent most of my life helping people understand things—languages, ideas, and sometimes even themselves. But here’s the honest truth: for a long time, I struggled to understand my own anxiety.
On the outside,I was building businesses, supporting students, juggling responsibilities. On the inside, I was overthinking. Second-guessing. Holding myself to impossible standards. Sound familiar?
Anxiety has a way of making capable people forget how capable they really are.
Over the years—through personal work, hard conversations, uncomfortable growth, and yes, a lot of trial and error—I’ve learned something powerful: anxiety isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s often a sign that you care deeply. The real shift happens when you stop fighting yourself and start being kinder to yourself.
These books aren’t about “fixing” you. "You’re not broken, You are still healing."
They are about giving you tools.
Perspective.
Permission to breathe.
Permission to rest.
Permission to grow at your own pace.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me traveling somewhere new, soaking up different cultures (it comes with the interpreter heart),or at home with my two bulldogs who remind me daily that life is better when you slow down and enjoy the moment. They don’t worry about tomorrow. They don’t replay yesterday. They just exist. There’s a lesson in that.
So think of me as someone walking alongside you—not ahead of you,not above you— just a few steps down the path, holding a flashlight.
You don’t have to be fearless to move forward. You just have to be willing.
