Last month I had the pleasure of meeting Nicole Basom, founder of Simply Care, LLC in Williamsburg, VA. Simply Care is a team of compassionate and dedicated caregivers that assist aging seniors so they can live independently in their own homes.

Upon meeting Nicole I learned that oftentimes senior citizens reside alone without the company and support of family members or friends nearby, which can lead to feelings of isolation and solitude. It can also be difficult to complete everyday tasks such as going to a doctor's appointment or picking up groceries.
After the passing of her grandmother, Nicole decided she wanted to help seniors age at home, so she created Simply Care, LLC. Simply Care offers a wide range of personalized support services tailored to each client's unique needs and interests, including assistance with daily activities like meal preparation, medication reminders, or transportation to and from medical appointments.
Above is one of Nicole's endearing clients, Mary. Mary resides alone and very much enjoys her time with Nicole. She was kind enough to let me photograph a typical day with Nicole where I was able to capture the true essence of Simply Care. These branding images will be used to help showcase some of the many ways Simply Care serves its clients.
As a branding photographer, my goal at each session is to capture the unique essence of the client and their brand. I enjoy getting to know my customers by learning what they value, and what message they want to share through their marketing. Simply Care is a supportive, compassionate, and sincere brand. My goal was to create imagery that reflects those qualities.
Prior to our photo session, I like to meet with clients to find out what types of imagery they prefer for their marketing and how they want their brand to be perceived. Each company's marketing strategy is as different as the products or services they offer. My job as a branding expert is to shine a light on what makes each brand unique. In preparation for our shoot, Nicole shared with me that she wants people to understand some of the services Simply Care offers, as well as the friendships that are made with each client.
Believing that seniors deserve to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes as they age, Simply Care strives to build strong bonds of trust and friendship with each client. It was such an honor to spend the afternoon with Mary & Nicole and see how Simply Care's dedication and commitment allow seniors to age with contentment and integrity.
Nicole was so much more than just a caregiver, but a true companion for Mary. I loved listening to them catch up on each other's lives as they soaked in the beautiful spring weather. It was a joy to work with such an authentic brand, that truly values each client relationship. Witnessing the companionship and engaging conversations was incredibly rewarding.
This session meant so much to me, as it reaffirmed being a professional photographer and branding coach is my dream come true. Words cannot express how passionate I am about sharing my marketing and sales experience through photographs. There is nothing quite like crafting the perfect image to visually represent a brand's message and mission. I am so grateful to be able to pursue my creative passion while also helping others achieve their goals and connect with new customers.
Photographing Mary & Nicole's friendship has filled me with a profound sense of purpose and joy, a sentiment I credit to Simply Care. The warm and caring support they offer goes far beyond just the people they serve, and their heartfelt dedication truly allows seniors to age with joy in their own homes. I highly recommend Simply Care to anyone who wants to enhance the quality of life for themselves or their loved one through compassionate in-home assistance and companionship.
