About Timeless Education:

Spirits History from a Master Distiller's Lens

Ahoy, history buffs and spirit enthusiasts! I'm Chuck Thompson, aka, Lord De La Warr, (pronounced Lord Delaware), the mind behind Timeless Education. For over a decade, I've immersed myself in the world of distillation at 8 Shires Coloniale Distillery in Williamsburg, Virginia. As Master Distiller, Blender, Craftsman, Head Historian, and Director of Historical Events, I didn't just make spirits—I lived them.

Picture this: Reenacting as Lord De La Warr (that's "Delaware" to you and me), leading tours, and diving into archives to recreate forgotten recipes from colonial times.

Our team spent 10+ years unraveling every thread of spirits history, from pirate rums to revolutionary brews. I was a key player in crafting the 1608 Jamestowne Single Malt Whiskey, now proudly displayed in museums across the country. That passion fuels this store:

Curated digital books and guides on gin origins, cider evolution, colonial wines, and more—perfect for bartenders, home brewers, or anyone who loves a good tale with their tipple.

When I'm not poring over vintage texts, I'm writing. My goal? Make history accessible, fun, and flavorful. Browse the collection, grab a download, and let's raise a glass to the past. Got questions or custom research ideas? Drop me a line!

Cheers! 🥃
