Hi! I’m Jess: the designer behind Transatlantic Crochet, a British-French crochet artist based in Iceland. I specialize in bright, whimsical crochet cosplay patterns inspired by fairytales, nostalgia, and all things magical. I’ve been crocheting since I was 16 and started designing in university, eventually combining my love of crafting and costume into crocheted cosplays.

I focus on cosplay garments and costume accessories for crocheters who are ready to level up from the usual makes and try something bold, niche, and cute as hell. My patterns are designed to be modular and customizable, perfect for makers who want to put their own spin on a character. I often add in embroidery and felting to bring each piece to life.

In 2024, I represented Iceland at the Nordic Cosplay Championships with a full crochet cosplay, and in 2023, my work was featured at Prjónagleði. I’m passionate about creative accessibility and am currently working toward greater size inclusivity in my designs.
