Well, here it is — welcome to my shiny new shop!
As much as I loved the simplicity of Jotform, I had sadly outgrown the free plan I was using, and the next paid plan was a bit too spendy for what I needed. So I’ve made the jump over to Payhip, and so far, it’s working out pretty nicely!
There are no monthly costs, which is great, but they do take a 5% processing fee. By the time Stripe takes its credit card fee too, it works out to around 8% overall. But hey, that’s life, right? The overall shop experience is really nice, and it should save me a bit of time too, especially now that courier tracking numbers can be sent out automatically with orders, which is a nice little bonus.
Some days there are no orders, and some days there are five or six, so anything that saves a bit of admin time is very welcome!
I’ll be adding product photos as time allows, especially once I can get some decent lighting. Winter is making that a bit tricky, as most of my home time seems to happen under artificial lights! But keep an eye out — I’ll be updating things as products are printed, available, and ready for their moment in front of the camera.
