I'm Vikki and I'm an Indie Author writing cozy-ish mysteries.

A little bit more about me

I'm a mum and I also live with chronic illness (stage 4 endometriosis).

I love reading across the mystery genre and I'm usually fuelled by coffee and some dark humour.

Prior to turning my focus to writing fiction, I was a full-time academic for over a decade, working as a Politics Lecturer and I then ran my own writing coaching practice working with women academics.

I'm on somewhat of a social media sabbatical in 2026, but you can still find me on Instagram, TikTok & writing longer form on Substack where I share personal essays about being a chronically ill mum building her indie author life.
