Death Toll in Florida Will Not Cover the Homeless Washed Out to Sea?

The death toll in Florida's Hurricane Ian, within the cities of Fort Myers, and Naples will most likely not indicate how many homeless people were washed out into the sea; the storm surge incapacitated both cities. Storm surge with a hurricane is similar to a tsunami. The main difference is how the waves come in as a pump with hurricane activity. A tsunami wave is a displacement of water caused by underwater rock slides, volcanic activity, or earthquake activity. Regardless, the waves came ashore and most likely washed human beings back into the Gulf of Mexico. At one point when the waves had started coming into Fort Myers, people saw the homeless trying to get into buildings within the city. How many of these homeless people drowned or were washed out to sea? We may never know the real death toll of Hurricane Ian in Naples or Fort Myers because of the homeless deaths that may go unaccounted for within the cities.
