Model 3 of SONFIRE ALMANACS LLC Climate Change Hurricane Experimental Forecast Model appears to be playing out and as forecasted on September 23, 2022, that landfall would take place near Naples Florida, or in the Everglades. This appears to be the case as Hurricane Ian is about 35 miles west of Naples Florida currently. Winds are 156 miles per hour on the southeast side of the hurricane eyewall making it a CAT 5 major storm. Winds of 150 to 185 are possible at landfall near Naples Florida with a 4 to 25-foot storm surge. Stay tuned to local weather information.
