Typhoon Noru Comes Ashore in Vietnam and Hurricane Ian Damage Reported in Cuba

Typhoon Noru has come ashore in Vietnam with 117 miles-per-hour winds producing damage to properties and serious flooding. About 555,000 homes are without electricity because of the damager wrought by Typhoon Noru. A death toll has not been counted yet but rumors indicate that floods from Typhoon Noru have killed some people in Vietnam (Stewart, 2022).

Hurricane Ian knocked out the entire electric grid in Cuba and two people died from the powerful tropical system. During the storm, Cuba was affected by Hurricane Ian's ferocious winds and blinding rain. This led to tremendous flooding and people with damaged homes. Two people have been reported killed by Hurricane Ian in Western (Cuba Sharma, S., Marcus, J., 2022).
