Major Hurricane heading for Florida. Right now is the time to prepare. The National Hurricane Center has the location of a developing hurricane at LOCATION...14.7N 73.5W. The GFS and ECMWF models are forecasting a Western Florida landfall. SONFIRE ALMANACS LLC's climate model is updated and is forecasting the hurricane to become possibly a category 3 or stronger. This is because of the forecast of Gulf of Mexico temperatures before the storm makes landfall. Forecast landfall on SONFIRE ALMANACS LLC climate model update will be in or near Jena, Florida. The expected forecast landfall date would be September 28, 2022, through September 30, 2022 (depending on the track of the storm), with 110 to 150 mph winds and a storm surge of 4 to 20 feet.
