WALT Model 2 Update for Friday March 30, 2023 Strong to Violent Tornado Potential

WALT Model 2 ground instruments are picking up on a high-risk isolated tornado situation across Northwest Mississippi near the city of Tyro Mississippi. Currently, just north of Tyro, there are two houses, one is a trailer house and the other is a regular house on Wyatt Tyro Road. The model is honing in on these houses for the potential of an EF-0 to EF-2 tornado Friday evening into Saturday morning with a more rural tornado from there northeast. The ground instrument model indicates the tornado could be stronger even from EF-2 or stronger at 92% probability. This could change by tonight as we sample the photosynthesis and denitrification together at around 7:30 P.M. this evening. This is similar to forecast soundings just a better look at what could happen. Denitrification is forecast to be strong in those areas Thursday, Friday, and Friday night owing to stronger tornadoes and a better CH4 release. Nonpolar NO3 is expected to increase within storm rainfall and a tightening within the updraft is expected to enhance tornadoes across an isolated area of Northwest Mississippi Friday evening.
