Every WedgeLine entry starts with a complaint, not an idea. Here is one, from Issue 04.
THE SIGNAL
On the Bubble forum, developers keep asking the same question: how do I get my app out? One thread opens with "I'm really excited to start building applications in Bubble, but I'm concerned about spending time creating websites/apps and being locked into 'the bubble'." Another, from an agency, says clients have come to them "partway through a Bubble to Next.js/Supabase migration". A third is titled "Bubble never gave you an export button. So I built one."
THE WEDGE
Bubble lets you export data, but not the logic. A tool that reads a Bubble app's structure and produces a clean specification (data types, fields, privacy rules, workflows) would save a rewrite team weeks. The buyer is a technical founder or lead developer with a revenue-generating app who has already decided to leave, and the agencies who do those migrations.
WHAT COULD KILL IT
This is the part most idea lists skip. The entry names it: an existing tool that already moves data could add workflow export, Bubble could ship native export or lock down the format, a general-purpose AI assistant might produce an adequate spec for free, and agencies may already have internal tooling.
THE SEVEN-DAY PLAYBOOK
Hand-produce a workflow inventory and schema report from a real customer's export for a fixed price, and pitch it to fifteen qualified prospects. The pass mark is three paid within three weeks. If not, stop.
THE EVIDENCE
Every quote in the entry is exact, links to the real post and is rated direct or adjacent, so you can see how strong the case is.
