Whitney R. Sims is a Florida native, wife, mom of 1 and highly effective educator. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Studies from Warner University and is certified in grades Pre-K through 3rd grade. Whitney has worked within the school system since 2009, beginning as a substitute teacher and later becoming a full time teacher in 2012. Her experiences with children also include working for daycare facilities and after school programs. It is her passion for early literacy that drives her to take action in doing what it takes to get students reading with comprehension and writing. Whitney is dedicated to providing support to students who are entering grade school (Pre-K) or in grades K-2 who have difficulty in the areas of: phonics, phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, writing and handwriting
