A golden ripple crosses the water. A tiny light catches a character’s eye. For a moment, something hidden becomes visible.
In ZUVOMIYA, light can guide us through a story before a single word is spoken.
In The Whale’s Song, the cool blue of the whale meets the warm gold of the water. The contrast draws our attention to a small encounter: a girl reaches out, and a connection begins.
Look closely at the film’s frames. Notice where the glow appears, where the girl is looking, and how the space between her and the whale changes. These details give a brief scene its rhythm.
That is one of the ideas I explore through ZUVOMIYA: a small gesture can open the door to a much larger world. A touch, a curious glance, a moment of kindness — and suddenly there is more to discover.
