It Began With Ramadan

For many families, particularly those raising children outside Muslim-majority societies, nurturing faith can feel increasingly complex. The gap between inherited cultural practices and a clear, grounded religious understanding is deeply felt. What parents sincerely wish to pass on does not always meet the tools and resources they need. This project was born from witnessing that reality closely, and from a genuine desire to respond to it with something meaningful.

It is that reality which has shaped our approach. Drawing on clinical experience alongside children and families, an understanding of child development and emotional growth, a foundation in Sharia sciences, and a continuous pursuit of knowledge under the guidance of scholars, we seek to support parents in one of their most profound responsibilities: cultivating faith in their children with wisdom, balance, and authenticity, rooted firmly in the Qur’an and the Sunnah as understood by the earliest generations.

Because conveying Islamic knowledge carries a weighty responsibility, and accuracy in matters of the deen is an obligation, we sought the guidance and counsel of scholars throughout this work. We are deeply grateful to the mashāyikh who supported this first eBook behind the scenes, whose careful review and corrections were invaluable to its completion.
