Make sure to fill out the “Student Information” section with the student’s correct details, including Date of Birth and Student Name, as they will be printed on the certificate. Course Enrollment and Completion

Why is my shopping cart showing an extra charge?

Clear any existing coupons and apply the correct code.

Double-check your cart for the right product and no duplicates.

I haven’t received order confirmation or course progress emails.

Check your spam folder.

Use a personal email address, as some school domains block our emails.

How long is the course, and can I get a downloadable certificate?

The 30-hour driver’s ed course is mandated by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (CA DMV). A minimum of 4-days are required to complete the course.

CA DMV regulations require physical certificates printed on pink color paper called pink slips. We cannot provide downloadable certificates.

You’ll receive your official certificate in the mail within 10 business days (including processing and shipping) at no additional charge to you. Need it faster? Expedited options are available on your account page for an additional fee ($10 or $20). Just a heads up: only the Driver’s Ed course awards a certificate, not the practice test course.Link to Accounts page: HERE

What can cause a delay in receiving my certificate?

Missing date of birth or incorrect/incomplete address information can delay delivery. Your date of birth is printed on the certificate.

Please note that the “California Driver’s Online Practice Tests & Study Guide (No Certificate Included)” is a practice test only and does not earn any certificate. To earn a driver’s ed certificate, you must complete the course “DMV-Approved Online Driver’s Ed for California, Including Study Guide and Certificate .” If you purchased the all-inclusive pacakge, you will have access to both courses from your Courses page. I have completed my driver’s education course. What are the next steps I need to take? Do I need to take a permit test with the California DMV, or can I start driving right away?

The detailed steps are available HERE . The driver’s ed is requred step 1. Here’s what you need to do next to get your learner’s permit:

Obtain your certificate: You should receive your official driver’s education certificate (pink slip) in the mail within 10 business days from us (within 5 business days if you opted for paid expedited shipping). Please note that the driver’s education certificate is NOT your permit for behind-the-wheel practice.

Visit the CA DMV: Schedule an appointment online or visit your local office.

Prepare for the permit test: Review the California Driver Handbook (https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/handbook/california-driver-handbook/) to ensure you’re familiar with traffic laws and road signs.

Take the permit test: Pass the written knowledge test at the DMV with a score of 80% or higher. Successfully completing this exam will earn you a permit from the California DMV, allowing you to begin behind-the-wheel training.

Behind-the-Wheel Training: Complete 6 hours of instruction (typically in three 2-hour sessions) with a professional driving instructor and approximately 50 hours of practice with a parent or guardian. This will make you eligible for the behind-the-wheel test at the DMV. If you pass, you will earn your driver’s license.
