Why Is Becoming An Affiliate Necessary?

If you're new to live streaming, you may not be aware that Twitch will pay you for the time you spend broadcasting and interacting with viewers in addition to contributions from viewers.

Requirements for Twitch Affiliates

  1. Stream for at least eight hours.
  2. Have 3 watchers per stream, on average
  3. Stream seven days a week for a month.

Over a 30-day period, you must concurrently fulfill each criterion.

Your advancement is constantly visible in the Creator Dashboard. Open the hamburger menu on the left and choose Analytics - Achievements to access it. Then choose "Path to Affiliate" to proceed.

Twitch Affiliate Rewards

You may make money as a Twitch Affiliate from a variety of methods. Remember that none of these can guarantee you consistent revenue right away, but with time, they could help you realize your goal of working as a streamer full-time.

  1. Twitch Subscriber
  2. Twitch Bits
  3. Twitch Ads Revenue

Cons of Affiliate Membership

Being a Twitch Affiliate currently only has one significant drawback: by signing the Twitch Affiliate Agreement, you consent to an exclusivity agreement. You cannot stream to other significant streaming services like Tiktok, Facebook, Youtube, or Trovo as a result. This also holds true for any video material you create using your streams; for instance, you must wait at least 24 hours before sharing any recorded streams on YouTube or other websites.
