A little about my background- I graduated with my bachelors double major (and minor) in Interdisciplinary Art, Art History, and Theatre. I am a mother to a brilliant man in his 20's and blessed to experience motherhood again raising my 5 year old daughter. Professionally, I’ve taught high school ceramics, owned an art gallery in Milwaukee, worked as a florist since I was 17, learned how to bake during the pandemic to get by, and for the past 13 years I’ve taught thousands of paint-and-sip classes through my company, U Paint & Party™.

So yes — I have the academic training.

Yes — I've been a mother more years of my life than not, and am a very patient teacher.

Yes — I know the fine art principles.

And yes — I can absolutely teach you the “rules.”

But more importantly… I know when to break them, on purpose.
