The Rifts of Volgren is the first book in The Gatekeeper Chronicles.

Abandoned to live with his grandfather Cameron Shaw stumbles across a breathtaking secret, one that catapults him through an ancient gate into the magical world of Wysearth. Two new rifts have opened in the barrier between worlds, and Cameron, his grandfather, and the rest of their companions must race to find the Master Mason and repair the breaches before catastrophic damage is done to both worlds.
