Yom Kippur Birthday Bags

In this 30 minute program, students will prepare birthday bags for a local food pantry. By doing this on Yom Kippur students can connect the idea of feeding the hungry with fasting on Yom Kippur. In addition, it connects to Rosh Hashanah as the birthday of the world. This program needs a few weeks notice as families donate many of the supplies. This program can be used with students of all ages.
