The lacy sleeves on this lovely sweater may look complicated, but the stitch pattern is very simple and it works up quickly. Use a soft yarn for the drapey fit shown here, or a stiffer yarn if you prefer more body.

This pullover is worked from the bottom up in pieces, then sewn together.

The openwork pattern is presented in written format.

Gauges: In Reverse Stockinette Stitch (Rev St st), 12 sts and 15 rows = 4"/10 cm; in Openwork Pattern, 10 sts and 17 rows = 4"/10 cm
