Let it Snow Wall Quilt

What a fun quilt to hang for the holidays! You can keep it up all winter long. Who doesn't love a snowman, especially when wearing a hat or scarf or both! There are so many snowmen on this quilt and each has a different look. Besides the applique snowmen, there are birds, trees, a sled, a house, moon, and a snowflake. I used faux wool in a 100% cotton flannel fabric that resembles wool, in fact the fabric company calls this flannel fabric, Woolies. I added several buttons, even snowflake buttons throughout the quilt. The background is cotton fabric with a silver glitter and I hand painted over the formally white background fabric with blue fabric paint.

All the applique pieces I hand appliqued in place. Truly a labor of love!
