In the summer of 1947, eighteen-year-old John returns home after finishing his first year of college. At his father’s birthday party, John meets Melanie, a beautiful and mysterious chanteuse who has been hired for the occasion. When John quickly realizes there’s more to Melanie than meets the eye and discovers the real purpose she’s been invited, he’s forced to make the most important decision of his life: to kill or not to kill?
