The pattern has two sizes: Small Adult (approx. 20" head) and Large Adult (approx. 22" head).
Materials Needed:
Approximately 120 m / 136 yards of heavy worsted weight wool. Sample hat is made with Coldharbour Mill Worsted Spun Aran (128m/100g, 100% wool), in Plum.
4 mm / US 6 and 5 mm / US 8 circular needles, 40 to 50 cm (16 to 20 inches) long, and 5 mm / US 8 Double Pointed Needles. If you prefer to knit hats using the magic loop technique, use circular needles at least 80 cm / 32 inches in length.
A cable needle.
A tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
A stitch marker for marking the beginning of round.
