WHEN HISTORY DRAMA IS OVER...


When time curtains have closed

And history drama is over…

Applause chants will go on….

And reverberate eternally…

 

For even if men should shut up

The stones will rise up….

And sing his praise

Ceaselessly…Endlessly

The eternal chorus shall roll…

Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!

 

Jesus’ claims about himself are startling. He is an encyclopedia, dictionary and commentary all by himself!!! Celebrate in this collection some of the brightest pieces ever written on Jesus Christ the son of God. In his life on earth, men commented “he has done all things well!”

 

Unlike many poets who write for enjoyment, my pieces have been tested and tried on TV, staged in schools, colleges, hotels & churches and have passed the test of performance and application. I have avoided jargon, esotericism and metaphysics. These are simple psalms. Infact, some pieces are just clever Word-marshalling of Bible verses...Pearl-stringing per se.

 

I personally have done many pieces here and friends have done others. The responses all over are almost alike. People want these poems either for keeps or to try them out in their own special settings.

 However, the most crucial aspect of this collection is that the pieces contain the authority of God and his word to change lives. They have changed my own life. They have made me cry as I prayed. They have developed my character. They have paid my rent, bought me shoes and opened doors no other key could! These psalms have brought me before presidents and dignitaries. They have won me friends and awards. Poetry is a powerful ministry.

 
Above all, I have seen students give their lives to Christ after poetry performances in schools. I encourage this endeavour. Let our poetry, music and dance be done for lasting causes and for the glory of God!
