Harbor View Scarf Knitting Pattern
I grew up on the coast of Maine. It's been many years since I lived there, but I miss the ocean and the beautiful boats coming into harbor.
When I was leafing through Barbara Walker's Charted Knitting Designs, I came upon the Miniature Lattice stitch and was entranced. To me, it looks like small rippling waves.
Columns of stockinette suggest the pillars on a pier. The asymmetric design is an both classic and modern, suitable for men or women. Best of all, the back of the scarf is also attractive--a simple but interesting ribbed design.
