Nebbiolo Juliette
Juliette is a tribute to an extraordinary woman who changed the history of wine. Born into French aristocracy, Juliette Colbert was destined to leave her mark in Piedmont. Married to the Marquis Carlo Tancredi Falletti di Barolo, she arrived in these lands in the early 1800s.
A pioneer, she saw in Nebbiolo what others did not—the potential to elevate and transform it. At the time, this grape yielded a sweet, sparkling wine, but with determination and the help of experts, she revolutionized winemaking, creating the first Barolo: dry, still, and austere, destined to become the ‘King of Wines.’
Today, in the heart of Monferrato, Juliette honors her legacy with a 100% Nebbiolo that expresses the true essence of this noble grape. Elegant and enveloping, it reveals a complex bouquet with notes of ripe red berries, rose petals, and delicate spices. On the palate, freshness and fine tannins blend in perfect harmony, leading to a long and refined finish.
