Let Me Finish Being Human

A heart worth the trouble.

A mouth that needs a moment.

Let Me Finish Being Human finds the funny, awkward, hopeful business of becoming a little easier to live with—and gives it room to dance.

There’s a firm opinion delivered before the reading. A dance lesson where seven goes beautifully and eight has other plans. And someone patient enough to point out that an apology works better after you lift your foot.

“I can own the mess I’m making.

I can change the way I move.”

Then the laughter opens into something honest: learning to listen, taking responsibility, and letting “still learning” become a promise you keep in the next thing you do.

There’s room to laugh at yourself and still take each other seriously.

For anyone who has changed their mind, found a better answer, or kept dancing after getting it gloriously wrong.

I’ve got some living left to do.

And I’d like to do some with you.
