Rockefeller, the owl ornament

Rockefeller, the owl is cute little ornament, or a toy, or a pin cushion. The owl is knit in the round with the two eyes knit separately and sewn on. Pictured samples are in fingering weight yarn held double and a sock yarn held single.  You will need less then 50 yards of yarn to create your own Rockefeller, the owl.
