Lesson 15 - Studying God's Word for Yourself: Learning to Study God's Word for Yourself

Can you open a passage of Scripture and begin studying it for yourself?

Lesson 15 brings the course's Bible-study skills together in a guided study of Scripture. Whether students have completed every previous lesson or are joining for the first time, they practice a simple process they can continue using in their own Bible study.

In this lesson, students will:

• Use READ, QUESTION, INVESTIGATE, UNDERSTAND, and RESPOND to work through a passage
• Select Bible-study tools according to what the passage requires
• Bring observation, context, investigation, understanding, and application together
• Leave prepared to open the Bible and begin studying God's Word for themselves
