Description:

This Master Prompt would focus on using TRIZ not only to solve present problems but also to understand how technical and non-technical systems evolve and to anticipate future development opportunities. It would guide researchers in analyzing Trends of Engineering System Evolution (TESE), system evolution patterns, increasing ideality, contradiction-driven transitions, evolutionary stages, S-curves, system–supersystem relationships, evolutionary potential and technology forecasting.

A major emphasis would be placed on constructing an evidence-supported evolutionary pathway rather than simply assuming that a system will follow a predetermined trend. Researchers would examine historical products, technologies, patents and system generations to identify recurring contradictions and the TRIZ mechanisms through which they were resolved. Evolutionary maps and related forecasting tools could then be used to identify plausible future development directions. The literature describes TESE as a widely applied TRIZ tool for product development and technology forecasting while recognizing the need for critical evaluation and computer-aided enhancement. TRIZ evolutionary studies also explicitly model development as movement “from contradiction to contradiction” and use evolutionary maps for forecasting future system generations.
