Durable Power Of Attorney Gives Authority to act on behalf of ALL CAPS NAME

This is a professional, editable Durable Power of Attorney between your living human self (Agent) and the Ens Legis (Principal), also known as the strawman or the all-caps name. Typically, when you sign a "loan agreement," the contract gives the bank power of attorney through an attorney-in-fact. This document allows you to take back that power.

Fill it out with the appropriate information and have it notarized. After notarization, place a 10-cent stamp in the lower-left corner and either have the post office cancel the stamp or apply a blue fingerprint. Once complete, send the document to any creditors and ensure it is added to your file. You can call them to confirm receipt; some banks may also provide email addresses where you can send a copy.

If you are applying for anything, keep in mind that you can strike out parts of the contract you do not agree with. One critical section to remove is the "attorney-in-fact" clause or anything that grants them authority to sign or act on your behalf.

If it's a digital contract, making changes may be more difficult. In that case, you can write a letter explaining which parts you do not agree to and include a copy of your Power of Attorney.
