Start or continue your Spanish journey with a fully structured and supportive language programme designed to guide you from complete beginner all the way to advanced level. Our courses are aligned (approx) with the CEFR framework, meaning you can join at the level that suits you and progress with clarity, confidence and purpose. If you are not a beginner, you can enter the programme at any stage and continue building from where you are.

Whether you are taking your very first steps or continuing your learning, our programme provides a clear pathway focused on real communication. From day one, you will begin developing essential skills in speaking, listening and understanding, enabling you to use Spanish in meaningful, real-life situations.

Our lessons are carefully designed to make learning feel manageable, enjoyable and achievable. We focus on practical vocabulary, accurate pronunciation, conversational confidence and strong grammatical foundations. Grammar underpins everything-it allows you to express yourself clearly and understand how the language works. By building this step by step, you gain the tools to create your own sentences with confidence.

Classes run once a week for one hour in small groups of 6–12 learners, ensuring a supportive environment with regular speaking practice and clear guidance at every stage. Sessions are carefully paced so no one feels left behind or overwhelmed. All lessons are delivered by expert and native teachers with experience living in both Spain and South America. Classes take place at either Whalley Old Grammar School or our main language centre in Padiham.

All materials are included. You will receive a physical folder packed with printed resources, weekly vocabulary lists, homework and lesson summaries. You will also have ongoing access to our online course folder, along with exclusive in-house videos and short stories designed to bring your learning to life and place it into real-world context. Additional optional homework is provided for those who want to accelerate their progress.

Alongside the course, we offer regular community events such as tapas nights, informal meet-ups and Spanish immersion evenings, giving you relaxed opportunities to practise Spanish in a social setting. All enrolled learners also receive free access to our international pen-pal exchange, connecting you with partner schools in Spain and South America to practise real communication.

Each course runs for 12 weeks at a total cost of £160. A £75 deposit is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance due before the course begins (you will receive an automatic reminder via email one week prior).

There is also an optional Travel Spanish workbook available for £10, designed to prepare you for specific situations you may encounter whilst on Holiday.

With consistent attendance and home practice, many learners reach B1 to low B2 level within 18–24 months—allowing them to hold conversations with native speakers, travel with ease and use Spanish confidently without relying on translation tools.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE PRICE OF THE DEPOSIT ONLY. The remaining balance will be automatically requested via email 10 days before the course begins.

The 12-week course includes a planned one-week break after Week 6, giving students time to consolidate their learning and return refreshed for the second half of the programme.

To ensure you join the right level, please contact us to request our online placement test. Full level descriptors are also available below to help guide your choice.

Lancashire Language Academy Spanish Pathway (Levels)
