This hat can be worn by anyone, anywhere! My testers all seemed to like to fold up the brim or wear as a sockhead hat.
It covers the ears and stays put no matter how fast you’re going!

What makes this beanie extraordinary is the decreases at the top.

It’s one size fits all, the fabric is very loose, but it can be knitted tighter and smaller by choosing smaller needles and or thicker yarn.
Worked brim up in the round, the pattern consists of two different stitch panels, rib and slanting rib, that are repeated alternately.

100 g of sport weight, 268 m (294 y) / 100 g

Needles

4 mm (US 6), 80 cm (31.5 inch) long circular needle for magic loop or
which ever type of needle with which you feel most comfortable to knit in
rounds.

Gauge

20 sts and 34 rows = 10 cm (4 inch) in stockinette, knitted in rounds.

M1k = Make 1 knit increase. With your left-hand needle, lift up the strand
between sts, front to back, knit it through the back loop.
