Newborn Photography Course (ENG & NL)
NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY — €35
Tiny clients. Big responsibility.
A newborn session is slow, warm and quiet, and it captures the shortest phase in anyone's life: a few weeks of curled-up toes, milk-drunk lips and tiny wrinkled hands. I've photographed families in my studio for more than fifteen years, and this course is how I work with the youngest clients: safely, calmly and always at the baby's pace.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
•
The job: why day 5 to 14 is the sweet spot, and studio versus lifestyle sessions
•
Safety first: ten rules that never bend, from spotters to airway and circulation
•
Composites: how "impossible" poses like the froggy are really made, safely, from two supported frames
•
Studio and gear: a warm, quiet, clean set-up with the right beanbag, heat, lenses and light
•
Before the session: booking during pregnancy, the intake call and a prep guide for parents
•
Settling the baby: warm, full, wrapped, white noise, and how to read a baby's signals
•
Light: one big, soft source, from head to toe
•
Wrapped poses: a hip-healthy wrap in five steps
•
Beanbag posing: a gentle pose flow, one small step at a time
•
Props: low, stable and lined, and why less is more
•
Parents and siblings: the family portraits that end up on the wall
•
Lifestyle at home: the un-posed alternative
•
Editing: redness, jaundice tints and skin, without plastic skin
•
The business side: packages, contracts, a written safety policy and GDPR

For photographers who know the basics of their camera and want to add newborns to their portrait or family work. This course shares good studio practice and does not replace hands-on newborn safety training or medical advice. Pairs perfectly with my PORTRAIT presets.
